Today has changed how to do business, and boards of directors need to address and meet today’s challenges.   Good article.   For me, the keywords in the article are EFFECTIVE BOARDS.  I still occasionally run into boards who meet for the free lunch and all else is nap time ……  okay, so maybe that is a bit harsh, but businesses who have an active and participating, carefully selected board are light years ahead of their competition who do not.
